About Me

My name is Calen Gardner. I’ve been doing photography for 5 years now. A passion for the automotive car scene drives what I do, which is where “Timeslip Captures” comes from. Meaning, a timeslip is a piece of paper you get after making a run down a drag strip which tells you how fast you went down the track. I also like to think a timeslip is a moment in time, which a photo represents.

I work full time as a technician at a Jeep dealership. I’ve also gone to performance schools in order to learn more about what makes a car make power. This vast mechanical knowledge reflects in my automotive photography because I actually know what I’m looking at and can appreciate what’s done to a vehicle and can take that into account for the final product. Apart from the automotive scene, I’ve been working on my portrait photography skills, as its a style of photography I’m sorta new to. I also enjoy landscapes and being out in the woods, zipping along the trails on my dirt bike with my camera in tow. Please feel free to get in contact with me and hopefully we can create something.
